Who we are
Wispy is made by Hausor Labs, based in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy covers Wispy, the Wispy Community and Wispy Console, a desktop tool for design engineers and agentic engineers that is currently in early access.
For any question about this policy or your data, email brian@hausorlabs.tech.
What we collect
When you sign up at wispy.cc/join, we collect:
- Your name and email address.
- Your role and what you are building.
- The location you type in.
- What you want from Wispy.
- Your operating system.
- Your GitHub or X handle.
- Your consent, and the date and time you gave it.
We also process technical data needed to block spam. Your IP address and browser signals are processed by Cloudflare Turnstile for a security check.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on wispy.cc/join.
Why we use it
- To run the Wispy Community.
- To send early-access invites and the product updates you asked for.
- To understand who Wispy is for.
Our lawful basis is your consent, and our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of abuse.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with service providers that process it for us:
- Google (Google Sheets and Gmail), where sign-ups are stored and we are notified of them.
- Vercel, which hosts wispy.cc.
- Cloudflare, which runs the Turnstile bot check.
We do not sell or rent your data.
International transfers
These providers may process data outside Kenya, including in the United States. They do so under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or for 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first. When you ask us to delete your data, we do it within 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Object to how we use it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Get a copy of it in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, email brian@hausorlabs.tech. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya, under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, or to your local data protection authority.
Security
Only the Wispy team can access your data. The form endpoint is protected by a secret, and all traffic uses HTTPS.
Children
Wispy is not for anyone under 16.
